This commentary focuses explicitly on borders and on their renewed importance as technologies for the production and reproduction of inequalities and mobility injustice. It brings attention to the impact the reactions to the pandemic, put in place by states or supranational institutions in relation to bordering processes, are having on vulnerable categories such as migrants and refugees.
